Default four week progress

Four weeks ago I posted saying the doc has given me 13 weeks to lose 25
pounds for surgery. Then he forgot to give me the magic potion and I forgot
to ask for it.

Anyhow, I was 245 on 11/7. The day before yesterday I hit a new low of 237.
That's, hey, chit, that's eight pounds in four weeks! I doubt that I'll be
able to keep losing at this rate, we'll see. There isn't an urgent need to
have the surgery done right away, anyway. Maybe I'll put it off for this
coming spring so that I'll have time to lose more weight.

Congratulations on your weight loss. It would not surprise me if you
continued to lose weight at that rate, as long as your diet stays the
same. I started my LC diet about 10 weeks ago, and I am still losing
about 2 pounds per week. I did not do an induction, I just limited my
carbs to less than 25 grams per day. When I have lost enough weight, I
will increase my carbs. I do not go hungry and I get plenty to eat.

For lunch today, I had pizza, without the crust. On a plate, I spread
out a couple of tablespoons of pizza sauce, then I added pepperoni,
Italian sausage (cooked), mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, mushrooms,
olives, a little onion and peppers. I microwaved it, until the cheese
was hot and bubbly, then I ate it with a fork. It was delicious, and
that is just about as close to pizza as I can get.g For dessert, I
had sugar free Jello with a little Cool Whip. I never go hungry on this
diet.
