You forgot to mention that that page won't allow you to back up or go to a
new site. I had to shut down my browser to get rid of it.

At any rate, poutine won't be on my list of must-have foods. G
(French fries with gravy and cheese curds)

EEK! I never knew this combination has a name. I get fresh cheese curds
every Saturday morning at the farmers market. YUM!!!

Gunn

Probably, LOL. Talk about carb overload! I'm sure someone will happily tell
you.

Debbie (heading up next month to poutine country, but I'll stick with the
fresh blueberries and the lobster)

Well maybe I'll have to try it next time. I got the DaVinci French Vanilla
once and was not impressed with it. Maybe the plain vanilla is better.

Poutine is bound to sound nasty to some based on description alone.
It's french fries, topped with fresh cheese curds and a thick brown
gravy. Oddly enough, it tastes wonderful. I haven't seen it anywhere
since we moved away from Fort Drum (far upstate New York) though.
It's a Quebec thing mostly, although it can be found in Ottawa too
(that's where I first ran into it).

I miss squeaky-fresh cheese curd. :-(

Take care,
Carmen

The plain vanilla is very good. My husband and I both thought the
French vanilla tasted just like their pancake syrup.

I am in BC, and they even sell it in McDonald's and Burger King, not that I
eat there looking away in feigned innocence

I've seen it in McD's. When travelling I do occasionally stop there for
their lobster rolls, available at McD's in New England and Atlantic Canada
in the summertime (skipping the rolls of course, which are just cheapo hot
dog buns so no loss.)

I have seen Lobster Rolls advertised in Costco. But never McD's here.

laughing Of course not. I wonder if they'd sell you just the
curds?. It's actual cheese, in contrast with the plastic they pass
off as cheese on the burgers.

Take care,
Carmen

Mmmm, now wouldn't THAT be an excellent idea! I actually buy the McD's
protein platters (I always order an extra patty). Ordering the cheese curds
onto that sounds absolutely divine!

Have you ever tried their protein platters before?
