Default First week's WI, December 15

Well, I got a really big surprise this week at my first week's weigh in. I
had stuck to my points well, and cranked up the exercise to a hour or more
daily. I figured I'd really push myself before my body figures out what's
going on. So I knew I had lost weight.

I didn't expect 10 pounds!

I've tightened my pants belt an inch, too.

I have no grand illusion about this being easy, or having big loss weeks all
the time, but it sure feels good today!

Now that was a nice surprise. Got work, don't expect that sort of
weight loss to continue though, the body will figure out soon enough
but enjoy the success.

Congrats on a very impressive start. Keep it up. Maybe your body won't catch
on for a few weeks.

Thanks for all the replies. I am determined to make this lifestyle change
permanent. I have to for my health. No more jumping off the bus when the
going gets hard.
