An interesting realization
Tonight (while sitting in the hot tub at the gym), I realized
something interesting. While I started this new WOE at 262 lbs., I was somewhat heavier a few years before that, after injuring my knee and before getting involved in exercise. The highest weight at which I weighed myself -- about 6 years ago -- was 275. At 137.5 when I weighed myself today at the gym, I'm exactly half of that all-time high :-). Chris 262/137/ (135-145) |

You must be a real rarity amongst comparable people... Congratulations, your accomplishment is incredible. I know that if I had to lose half of my weight, I would probably fail. i Well, you were less overweight than I, so that would require you to get to an unhealthy weight. Apart from being unwise, I'm sure this would be much more difficult. (And honestly, what I've done didn't seem difficult in any sense. It's more a matter of just keeping on keeping on :-).) Chris |

But it really does seem sort of incredible (in the true sense of the word -- hard for me to believe that I was ever that large, and hard for me to really internalize that I'm this small).
