Default The fibre and GI connection

1.) Is there any connection between the fiber and the GI of the food,
or does the GI apply only to the net carbs with fibers subtracted?

2.) Is food with 2g of GI 50 value worse, better or the same as
food with 4g of GI 25 value.

3.) How does GI of food relate to the induction of the Atkins diet?
Is higher GI value more bad for ketosis as carbs with low GI value?

Thanks for your replies in advance.

GI is irrelevent on Induction. Eat what's on the list, don't eat
what's not on the list.

Go to this page for an explanation of GI and the new GL (glycemic
load). In a nutshell, Glycemic index is the same for a food
regardless of quantity. Glycemic load adjusts for quantity. The web
page explains it better than I!
