On fat-free and buttered popcorn
try it before you buy, I mean buy one of each and see what suits you, also
with both options, spray the bowl before you put in the popcorn, better coverage for les spray, Lee Doug Lerner wrote in message ... But I will be making a trip to the U.S. starting Friday, so I'll see what I can bring back with me. The Pam (that's canned, right?) is sounding like the best choice now. doug "Doug Lerner" wrote in message ... I would have sprayed in the bag and shaken it for distribution. doug Me too. Its like the salad dressing trick. Where you dip the fork in a container of salad dressing and then use the fork to pick up the lettuce or whatever. That way you get the taste without all of the fat. Of course there is always fat free, but when those situations where fat free is not available, DIP. Ralph |

On fat-free and buttered popcorn
air pop and dip fingers into melted butter
Doug Lerner wrote: I have a supply of boxes of 99% fat free "buttered" popcorn. Each bag is 100 calories. That is a mainstay snack. I've also tried the Orville Redenbacher "movie theater butter" popcorn - each bag is 210 calories. All I can say is that the buttered version is twice the calories but easily FOUR times as delicious. I really love buttered popcorn! I think it is worth it to give up another 100 calories on something else just to have the buttered popcorn. Yum! Maybe if they had those spray-on zero calorie butter flavors here I would think differently. But buttered popcorn. Man. It's great! Those fat-free ones are "ok" as a quick, low-calorie filler. But they really don't taste buttered at ALL. doug |

Just don't put out your hand to your dog for a lick afterwards. You'll
lose your fingers. doug |
