Tenuate
I have prescibed to me Attenuate, an appetite suppresent, to facilitate
weight loss. The drug loses its effectives after a few week of use and the doctor says as I take the maximum now, he cant increase the dosage because that hasnt been studied. Unlike phentermine which has been used for years, is well understood and whose dosage can be increased. I dont like the side effects of phentermine and would like to continue on Tenuate. Any comments on how to overcome the decreasing effectiveness of Tenuate? thank you |

under control. That's not true for me - after a 50 mile bike ride, I'm ready to eat the arse out of an elephant I'm like that! But after a 50 mile bike ride, I think you'd be allowed to eat the arse out of an elephant! MadJock 204/192/165 |

Neither phentermine nor tenuate has been studied at higher doses, nor for longer than 24 weeks. The only exception is several small "phen/fen" studies in which the combination of phentermine and fenfluramine was used in patients for up to 4 years. Phentermine is much more effective than tenuate, and has a longer half life. If you don't like the side effects of phentermine, you can start with a low dose and gradually work your way up to an effective dose. Side effects are transient, and generally abate after 4 weeks or so. I usually stop halfway and have something -- otherwise I start to feel yucky and have a hard time making it home :-/ |

That is http://www.pillchart.com/products/tenuate.php They have the cheapest prices i've found on the net. Plus, besides Tenuate they have a lot of weight loss pills at great prices, including tenuate. StickMan |
