Default Low Carb Snack Bar Recipes?

Does anybody have a recipe?

1/2 cup almond butter
2 tablespoons ground flax seed
2 tablespoons ground almonds
1 egg
1 dozen pecan halves

Mix everything except pecan halves. If dough seems too wet, add more ground
almonds. (I keep a bag in the freezer.) Roll by teaspoons into balls. Press a
pecan into the top to flatten. Bake for 5-10 minutes at 325°. The time will
vary depending on how you measure each "teaspoon".

No bake bars:

For each bar, you need 1 ounce of cream cheese. Roll into a ball, and roll in
chopped almonds. Refrigerate.

Some might like to mix in flax seed, cocoa, cinnamon, or sweetener prior
rolling. Chopped fresh cranberries are nice with all this. (Not those craisins,
the real thing.)

For an alternate, roll in the cheese bars in chopped chives instead of almonds.
Chopped hazelnuts, ground coconut, or ground walnuts can be great too.

Another recipe for a bar my older kids like:
For each bar, fill a celery stalk with cream cheese or peanut butter.

My favorite pick me up bar is my homemade salt and pepper beef jerky though.
This isn't high in mass, but it's extremely delicious and satisfying.

Homemade pemmican is a nice snack bar too. Hits the spot.

Default Low Carb Snack Bar Recipes?

I found this on the Carbsense website the other day, although I haven't
tried them yet. Even though they're called "breakfast bars", I don't see
why you couldn't eat them any time of day. If you do make them, let me
know what you think.

Breakfast Bars
-----------------
½ cup CarbSense Hot Cereal (either flavour)
2 Tbsp butter
1/8 cup Splenda
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
2 Tbsp water

Mix ingredients together in a medium sized mixing bowl. Spoon onto a
greased baking pan and form into a rectangle, about ½ inch thick. Bake in a
pre-heated oven at 350 for 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool
on a rack for 5 minutes. Yield: 2 bars, about 2-inch by 5-inches, each. Net
Carbs: About 3 grams per bar

I'd really like to bake some kind of snack bar for the afternoons. (I
don't have much luck losing weight when I eat the low carb energy
bars, but I really kind of want a bar between lunch and dinner. I
know I could eat cheese or avocado or something, but I want a bar,
darn it!)

Does anybody have a recipe? My perfect recipe would be pretty high in
fiber, for mass, and come out at 6 grams of carbs or less. I'm
flexible on taste or flavor, as long as I can eat it.

Thanks
