I eat because I am feeling good.

I eat because I am not feeling good.

I eat because I am feeling stressed, or not.

I eat because I am feeling bored.

I eat.

Arrggggg!!!

I am driving to NJ Sunday and expect to be there for around a week.
Its a highly stressed legal situation, that has been ongoing for around
four years. So I am going to be confronted with everyone of my
triggers.

I suppose if I come back without gaining a bunch or break even I should
count my stars.

Don't assume you will fail...You are well aware of your weakness...I also
suffer from many...but I find WW makes me think twice...And I'm beginning to
get quite a charge by beating my weakness and not giving in....You can beat
this if your ready...Just the fact that you posted your worries shows your
thinking about the challenge...Don't cheat yourself out of everything but be
aware what choices you have...For me after 18 weeks I'm no longer assuming
every meal will be a challenge...I'm learning portion control...Big step for
a 55 year old man with a lifetime being overweight...GG

since you know this is stress, and this is also real life, just focus on a
couple of things and let the rest go, like;
- ok you are stress eating, but journal and point it anyway,
-drink extra water to compensate for the extra salt
-try and eat healthier even if you are eating too much if they are healthier
choices the damage might not be as bad and it will set you up for better
losses when you get back on track,

Lee, wishing you the best of luck

You aren';t going to change all your habits at once, and don't need
to. As stormee says limit the damage by eating better and don't let
this add to your worries. Try to avoid fast food.
Steak and salad instead of lasagne and cheesecake.

I have the same problem when I'm away from home. I tend to drink too
much too
