news hehehe............seems like we are all 40 something in here?

doesn't matter a hill of beans to me - I used to be a bingo caller many
years ago and I loved stopping to gab with all of the old women! I really
enjoyed putting a smile on their faces! I seem to attract old people - My
wife and Daughter always kid me about leaving me a lone in a mall or
something because they know when they return, I will be sitting there
yakking it up with someone like they were my old lost friend or something!!!
LOL!

Hey - I'm a people person! Is that so bad?

I'm 49, so not even really middle aged yet... Mum is 77. She says
'I'll start being old next week - right now I don't have time!' She
just bought a brand new car, too. And she has a new sewing machine she
hasn't had time to explore yet.

Old is an attitude, not a number.

Audrey,

I had to respond to your post. You mentioned your friend at your meetings
is 70. My WW leader is 72, she is the greatest lady in the world, and I
would not change meetings at all. It is funny, she commented last week,
that the center's numbers are dropping, but her meetings are maintaining, so
that says something about the "stick-to-itiveness" of her meetings and the
following she has gathered. Old is a state of mind and if you feel you and
act young, then you are young!

Debbie, it's a great inspiration for people who use the excuse that they
are too old to change.

Default 50 Pounds!!! - FOR TANUKIKI

I do it because I need to for myself as well as wanting to return all of the
support I have gotten here, I need to respond to keep my goals in mind, I am
sure that since you told him he is fine with it, it is easy sometimes to
feel slighted on the net, so I hope you two are fine with each other now,
you are both great people, Lee

I'd just like to clear the air with you Tanukiki..........for weeks, I
tried
replying and supporting you in your posts, but it seems that since day
one,
you've never taken the time to give me any support back? Is it possible
that maybe I have offended you in some way?

I'm not trying to stir up any trouble, but I'm just curious.

Eddie,
I'm so sorry that you feel that way. I certainly have not intended any
disrespect or meant to slight you in any way. I'm only on sporadically due
to the boys (they are a handful). I try to respond when I can but probably
don't respond to everyone who repsonds to me. I kind of feel a kinship

with
Joe as we started about the same time. I'm going through a rough time at
work and home and with the weight loss. I should really make more of an
effort to respond to everyone like Lee does. She's so good about that.

Eddie I don't think you would offend anybody.

I think that maybe I did something wrong but I can't figure out what.
Oh well, such is life. Maybe it's my age and the group just can't
relate to me. I was once a young, fit, handsome man. Now I'm an old
fat guy.

I was once young, lithe, and energetic. Now I'm a crabbit ole witch!

A wet witch at that! Where's Noah when you need him? I know I live on
the top of a hill, but this is ridiculous!

snort, I asked my dad on his sixtieth birthday how different he felt from
18, he said, first remember being old is always better than the alternative,
now to answer the question,... every morning I wake up, start to roll over
to reach for your mom, then stuff starts creaking and I remember how old I
am, until the moment I start to turn over I am once again 18 and married to
the most wonderful woman in the world, after I roll over, I am just married
to the most wonderful woman in the world, Lee,
