Food & Exercise -- 4/29/2007
Had a pleasant day today. I went for a run in the morning. After
lunch I went by the winery for a barrel tasting (where you sample wines that are still in the making directly from the barrels and can buy "futures" if you wish). Then I went to hear my good friends Mike and Mary Anne sing in their spring chorale concert. Then the three of us (DH was home working) went for an early supper to a restaurant where we could eat out on the deck and enjoy the beautiful spring afternoon. Food: * 7:15 (home): instant oatmeal w/ peanut butter & flax seed * 11:45 (home): turkey breast burger on whole wheat hamburger bun w/ f/f cheese slices, dill pickle slice, & catsup * 1:30 (barrel tasting): wine samples (maybe totaling one small glass); a few pita chips w/ salmon mousse, a few shrimps with cocktail sauce, about 1/2 oz. of marinated beef, and a couple of oz.. of cheese * 5:00 (restaurant): cheese & mushroom omelet; 1 glass wine * 7:15 (home): 1 largish square dark chocolate (my friends brought us back a large bar from Switzerland) Exercise: 10:00 -- 3 mile run Chris 262/130s/130s started dieting July 2002, maintaining since June 2004 |
