Food & Exercise -- 5/13/2005
Worked at home this morning, then went to the gym with DH and out to
an early dinner. (We were supposed to go to a concert but it was cancelled at the last minute due to illness, so we went out for dinner instead.) This was a splurge dinner, as we went to a huge Asian buffet -- big table of sushi, sashimi, etc., another big table of hot fish and meat dishes, and another of tiny desserts (great for sampling). Food: * 7:45 (home): 2 poached eggs on 1 slice whole wheat toast w/ 3 slices melted f/f cheese & 5g grated parmesan * 12:00 (home): turkey burger on whole wheat English muffin w/ 3 slices f/f cheese, dill pickle slices, and catsup * 5:45 (Asian buffet): 6 pieces sushi; 3 pieces sushi roll; 2 snow crab legs; small tastes of about a dozen hot dishes; 7 tiny desserts (probably about the equivalent of 1 regular dessert) Totals: 1987 calories, 63g fat (28%), 154g carbs (31%), 197g protein (40%) Exercise: 2:15 -- Olympic lifting + cardio * Shoulder warmups -- a sequence of 75 various shoulder raises using 5 lb. plates * Warmups with hollow bar: 10 overhead squats, 5 drop snatches, 5 classic snatches from high hang, 5 regular classic snatches * Classic snatch: 3x5x15kg/33lbs * Clean pulls: 1x5x25/55; 1x5x35/77; 1x5x45/99; 2x3x55/121 * Back squats: 1x5x20/44; 1x5x30/66; 1x5x40/88; 2x3x50/110 * Good mornings: 2x10x30/66 Treadmill run: 1 mile run, in repeating pattern of .1 mile each at 6.5, 6.4, 6.4, 6.3 -- for a new best mile time of 9'22" -- down 2 seconds :-) Chris 262/130s/130s started dieting July 2002, maintaining since June 2004 |
