Default Okay, I found this cool weightloss program and I am doing well on it.

Hi, I do not usually post in newsgroups because apparently my writing style
comes off as being too much like some sort of advertisement, but I am going
to try and do this, so bear with me. I am a 31 year old web developer, and
spent a lot of time corresponding on a professional level, so I hope you
will allow me some leeway in my writing style. My main goal here is to help
others lose weight the same way I am currently doing for free.

I started on a new weight loss program this winter, and I have been amazed
with the results. My name is Christian Reynolds, and I was probably 100lbs
overweight. Other than my brief time spent in the military (I gained back
weight after training and was discharged 3 years later due to my inability
to get back underweight), I have always been heavy. I have tried diets like
Atkins, the cabbage soup diet, and the grapefruit diet, etc... I would lose
like 10 lbs and gain 12-15 back. When I was trying to keep in the military,
I was only 5 lbs overweight, but my diet failures caused me to gain back 20
more pounds while I was supposed to be losing it.

So when I heard of a program that meant I didn't have to diet, I was
intrigued. Dieting is so hard because I really love food, and find the
willpower necessary takes too much effort and is usually overcome in a month
or so.

So in November, I was approached by Paul, a family friend who offered to let
me join this free weight loss program that was just starting out. He had met
Armand, the creator of the program, through a mutual business contact.

Well, I was on the program from Nov to Dec 2003, and I lost 20lbs. I didn't
change my eating habits, and didn't count calories. The only change to my
lifestyle that I made was going to the local mall and walking for an hour a
day.

If you notice, I said I was on the program in NOV/DEC, I bet you wonder
"what happened since then?". You see, I went off the program during the
holidays due to the rush of the season, family members visiting, and all
sorts of other little things. I ate everything I was offered at Christmas
and New Years dinner. And you know what? Its now February, and I still
haven't gained back that 20 lbs!!! In fact, I noticed I don't eat as much or
as often as I used to, and I am not doing it through willpower. Its as if my
whole outlook on food has changed!

So anyways, now that I am positive that this will work, I am planning to
continue the program to lose the other 80lbs this year. There is one woman
in the online support group that has lost 68lbs! The greatest thing of all
is that the program is FREE to anyone who I refer, This includes online
voice chat support groups, all the lessons, and even personal assistance by
the creator when needed. Since it is new, Armand (the creator), wants to
expand his control group and has asked those of us who have participated in
the program to try and get others to take advantage of it. What does he get
out of it? He gets the data necessary to prove his program works.

If you want more information you can email me directly at
and I will be happy to tell you more. For those of
you who think this is some kind of advertisement, I have provided my full
name and actual email address. For those of you who may think this is a
scam, I will flat out dare you to prove me wrong. In fact, I can guarantee I
will prove you wrong! Everyone that has followed the program has lost
weight.

Sincerely,

Christian Reynolds

Default Okay, I found this cool weightloss program and I am doing well on it.

Actually there is more than just the walking portoion of the program. What
the program does is attempt to change your metabolism through targeted
heartrate walking and mental exercises. I have not voluntarily changed my
diet in any way, however, I have noticed I eat less, and less often, than I
used to. I was skeptical at first too, and in fact, my first month I didn't
do any of the mental exercises, and only walked 3 days a week (I try and
walk at least 5 now). I lost 6lbs my first month, and when I actually
FOLLOWED the instructions I lost 14 the next month.

The reason I ask people to email me is because this is a program that is
done online in live chat rooms, and only a limited number of people can
attend each class, once a class fills up, we start another. If I were to
just give everyone a link to the classroom, people who were serios about the
program might not be able to get in, while those who were just looking took
up the class space.

Armand (the creator of the program) has given each of us initial volunteers
a special code and page to refer people to. The page has a mini workshop and
and introduction audio tracks to listen to. If you like what you hear, you
are encouraged to enroll using my secret code. The page is he

If you decide to join the program, please email me so I can attend or even
facilitate the class you are in. The support in this program is unparalleled
to the other online programs I have seen. So much so that everyone who uses
my code, will actually speak to me in person, and I will be part of your
support group.

As usual I am more than willing to answer any questions via email at

Christian, is walking for one hour per day the only component of that
program? And did I get it correctly that your eating is not limited in
any way?

I would be thrilled to hear more details on this newsgroup!

No, it is not a commercial program. The best way I can describe it is that
the creator took two different methods he learned and combined them into
this program.

The mental exercises are a type of visualization/relaxation technique that
gets you into the mindset of seeing yourself successful. I remember when I
lost 100lbs in basic training that I thought I looked ugly when I was
skinny. It was because I couldn't picture myself thin, and I felt awkward.
Once I left the regimen of basic training, I did okay for a year, and then I
went back to training again, so my willpower to remain fit only had to last
a few months. When I completed my final training, it was about 18 months
before I had gained back enough weight to not pass the physical. I had 6
months to lose the 5lbs I was over and keep it off for the entire rest of
the period. Needless to say, I would lose 5olbs one month and then weigh in
the next month at 10lbs over again. I felt more comfortable with myself
being heavy, but I am now changing that view.

I really recommend that you listen to the free mini workshop and
introduction on the page I referenced. It was an eye opener for me. You
don't need to provide any information at that page, you only need to listen.
If you like what you hear there is a link to the registration form.

I am mostly curious actually. What kinds of exercises are these? This
soundslike a commercial program, is it in fact one?
