Eating at night
Been going through all my eating logs for the past month and noticed
something; when I eat after 8pm weight loss slows. On seven of the eight days last month that I ate after 8pm, even as little as a 150 calorie salad, there was no weight loss the next day. However, every other day of the month there was a morning loss. The calories on the late night eating days actually averaged 120 calories less and exercise was about the same. I have consistently lost one pound per day, excepting the days where I ate at night. One week had three such days and the loss for the week for 4 pounds. At no time did I go over 1600 calories or 15 carbs a day. The only day I ate at night and still lost was on a day where I installed headers and a dual exhaust system on my Thunderbird. Replacing an exhaust system that had been in place for 27 years with just hands tools, a few jacks and WD-40 was quite a workout, so that may account for the loss on that day. In no way do I claim a definitive link, just posting an observation and noting that others have said cutting night eating has broken (real) stalls. -- Vic 258/221/180 Since 3/24/04 |
