Could it have been the water?
I've been hanging around the 146-148 range for a long, long time. Last week
I decided to participate in the water challenge as I often forget to drink enough water. This morning I stepped on the scale and saw 144.5. I checked the scales a couple more times before leaving the house and it remained a steady 144.5 readout so I'm claiming it! I've also been giving the new Core Program from WW a try. This didn't require much of a change in my WOE as I seemed to be eating most of the foods on the core list. I just had to make a few minor adjustments such as using skim milk for coffee instead of non-dairy coffee creamer, plain yogurt with fresh fruit in place of low-fat flavored yogurt, adding a daily serving of olive or flax seed oil, etc. I'm just happy to see the scale going in a downward trend once again and hope it continues. Beverly 177 / 144.5 / 140 Way to go Bev! I'd be willing to bet it was the combination of the water and all of those little changes you mentioned, but then again there is no study proving conclusively that drinking water leads to weight loss... I'll get to use my new one with all the fancy settings - if I can figure it out G Beverly - who is going for the standard 10,000 steps per day since I spend most of my day seated at a computer. |

Whoa, that is fantastic, Bev! I do believe it was the water -- it makes a huge difference to me, I know. Great job on the water challenge -- I will definitely join in the next one -- I know I haven't been hitting my 3L per day. Mary |
