This has nothing to do with the current thread.

I just visited your website and wanted to say congratulations! You're
past the half-way milestone and doing great.

I read the nice comments about your website from the weekly newsletter.

Thank you! I'm having ups and downs now, but overall I'm happy with
my progress. And I surprised by that whole newsletter thing. It's nice
hearing someone talk that way about you!

Again, if you hang out in the kinds of lowbrow places that meth-heads
and drunks frequent, sure. As an adult with actual standards, I tend
to be able to have good enough judgement to avoid that kind of stuff
and knowing Dally like I do, she hangs with a much better crowd too.

It's not Dally he wants to beat up; it's me. Because I told him he was
lazy and ignorant.

Well I don't know much about you but I'd imagine you aren't hanging out with
meth heads and drunks either.

There are probably a few of them among the production crew of the
company I work for, but they're all super-nice to me because I control
the Sharpies.

Haven't run into any at school, either. Or at the gym, or the library,
or the grocery store.

In fact, the last time someone actually tried to beat me up was when I
was thirteen - twenty-five years ago. Most rational adults can think of
better ways to resolve their differences.

I like eating. I've liked eating ever since I can remember. I don't know
anyone who doesn't like to eat. Were you born on this planet, or what?

I don't like to eat. I eat because I have to and because hunger
occasionally drives me to it.

I like eating. I like having sex, too. I just choose when and where to
do both with some concern for the consequences.
