Ok- I have been lurking for quite a while- I am suspecting that my
thyroid is to blame. This is my menu for 2 weeks to the T! breakfast- 2 scrambled eggs with Pam on 1 slice whole wheat tst with 1 tsp mayo snack- 1 whey protein shake with water lunch- 2 cups lettuce with 1-2 hard boiled eggs and sometimes a can of tuna then I dunk then lettuce into olive oil with spices dressing snack- another shake mixed with water ( from GNC) dinner - chicken breast with 1 cup veggies and maybe 1/2 cup wild or brown rice. I drink almost 1 gallon water a day and have 2 cuos coffee with 2 splenda packets. During the 2 weeks I have had about 3 mixed drinks which were bacardi and diet coke I have gained 10 pounds!!!!! What is going on with my body Thanks |

The starches give you an insulin boost that deposits the fats you're eating with it right on your backside. In fact, you could save yourself all the trouble of preparing the rice and toast and just duct-tape it to your hips! The calories in alcohol are used before those from fat, protein or carbs, so that also helps put on weight. May I ask what plan you are following? -- Peter 270/215/180 Before/Current Pix: http://users.thelink.net/marengo/wei...htlosspix.html |

May I ask what plan you are following? first I would like to say that I love the over active fork- very - very funny!! I am not following "any set plan" I did low carb last year and to be honest- I would stink! Not so much my breath but my sweat and everything else. It was very gross and not mention perfect birth control! Anyway- my thought process was that it was low calorie and that at least some weight would come off. Obviously not! So after the couple of swift kicks I have deceided that I need to re read the book and start on induction again. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the replies. 210/210/160 size 14/14/8-10 5'7 32 f |

"sh0rtcircuit (Deb)" wrote in message ... Get rid of the shakes - they are carbier than you might think. This depends on the shake. Read your label on the Whey protein. Isopure is one of the better brands. The vanilla is less than 1 carb for a 1 scoop serving (but it does require some flavor help....i use white chocolate DaVinci and it's pretty good). Loser |
