I pay 39 dollars a month now for a full gym with kick boxing classes, toning
classes, weights, treadmills, babysitting...everything!

Much more worth the money than curves...and I'm seeing results.

Hi guys,

I just read the Curves book and it promotes low carb along with (their own)
exercise program. Has anyone tried it? I'm thinking about joining. Could use
some outside encouragement and maybe being with other people in the same boat
would help. May also make me actually exercise instead of sitting on the
couch
looking at that Pilates tape.

The best workout is one you'll do. Curves fills that niche for a lot of women
that can't / won't spend hours at the gym. And it's an excellent workout IF
done correctly. And that's it's main downfall. Hydraulic resistance machines
are controlled entirely by you. If you don't push it hard, it won't push you
hard, if you know what I mean. Plenty of women go there, bounce around on the
rest stations, work the machines in a completely half-assed manner, and think
they are "working out". (and then, of course, wonder why they aren't getting
results down the road)
