Default A rough couple of days!

Hi Folks!

I just wanted to check in and let everyone know that I'm still
alive.

It's been a rough couple of days for me as irishcrm went to
the hospital on Thursday night. By morning, she was on the
operating table for an emergency appendectomy.

So, needless to say, I've been spending a great deal of time
at the hospital, not getting quality sleep, and my diet has
gone out the window. I didn't think that I was doing that
badly, but the scale is saying otherwise. It's claiming that
I've gained back 8 lbs. I find that hard to believe though.
I'm hoping that I'm retaining water and this will level out a
bit in the next few days.

Anyways, I'm expected that irishcrm will be coming home today.
We'll have to see what the quack says. She's doing fairly
well. She has been up and walking around, taken off IV, and
finishing her meals. (That's a courageous feat right there.
I never knew that lemon jello was green!!)

I'll likely need to take some time off or work from home to
ensure a speedy recovery. It took a surgery, but my boss has
now found a way to force me to take vacation time! $@*#^

Anyways, I'll try to check in when I have a few moments in the
upcoming days.

Cheers!

Alex

Sorry to hear all this Alex, but so glad to know the operation was a
success.

I hope you'll soon be back on track - keep posting here if it helps
