What do you do to the All-Bran? Have you tried the others (Bran Buds,
Fiber-1)? Which do you like the best?

Personally I prefer the All-Bran to the others I have tried. My favorite way
to eat it is in the muffin recipe found on the box.

I like both All Bran and Bran Buds. The All Bran combines nicely with
things, the buds make a crunch topping.

For those who like hot cereal

Layer in a bowl:
1/2 C All Bran
1/2 C unsweetened applesauce
1/3 C 1% milk

Microwave for a minute, stir and nuke another 30 seconds to desired temp.

Stir in 1/2 T natural chunky peanut butter (or almond butter, etc)
sf hazelnut syrup or other sweetener if desired
Add 1 T raisins if desired
Sprinkle with cinnamon

Seriously yummy, filling and quick to make.

With raisins and peanut butter: 241 calories, 7g fat

Thanks to all for your advice. This weekend I tried oatmeal instead of my
regular cereal. So far no grumblies in the tummy!

Just as a word of warning... good luck finding a low GI cereal that
doesn't look like it belongs in a 'feed bag' :-)

All bran? Bran Buds? Fiber-1? Museli?? No thanks :-)

Lol I have a couple different ways that I prepare All Bran that are very
yummy to me . . . but some folks think I'm a nag ;-)

Thanks - I finally worked up some courage and gave it a try. What's
the worst that could happen? A waste of $5 on a box of cereal??
And... actually... it wasn't too bad. It tastes much better than it
looks! Really, it just tasted like broken-up Shreddies.
