Thanks Laurie! You are so right. Before I started this new WOL I felt very
overwhelmed at the thought of having to lose 70lbs -- and that's just to get
to the top of my healthy weight range. Setting mini-goals and meeting the
first one, has given me a real sense of accomplishment. My next one is for
10lbs -- I just lost 25lbs, if I can do that, surely I can lose 10 more --
I'll worry about the other 35 when I get there. s

Willow

Congratulations on meeting your mini goal, Willow!

I set similar mini goals the whole year I lost weight and met every one.
It's very motivating. It wouldn't have been nearly as much fun if I had
just started by saying I wanted to lose 97 pounds.

Keep up the good work - you're doing it *right*.

My way of thinking about food and
exercise has totally changed and I feel really comfortable with it.
For the first time, I feel like I can do this -- all the way. It's
not a diet, it really is a way of life.

I love to hear this! Once it *clicks* everything else falls into place.
