Default Alternative to Written Food Journal

I read something funny and thought I would see what the reaction would
be...

I was reading about a woman who had a hard time writing down her food
intake (the usual delights - underestimating, forgetting stuff, etc.)
She decided instead to use her little digital camera and take a
picture of everything she was eating... The effort of hauling out the
camera would in itself deter her from eating... and it is harder to
'cheat' your portion sizes when you have photographic evidence.

I think I might try that... post it all to a blog.

What do you think?

I could see that working, being a proffessional photographer myself... I
would have to make sure the lighting was right and the food 'just so' on the
plate... heh...

of course with a cameraphone it is really easy to do...

For me it would take so much time because I eat more than three meals a
day. The visualization would be good but you still have to know the
total points.
