How to diet
I`m as thin as I want to be , do not have any interest in women or men,
if "Kaz" had a brain he or she would understand that the precepts I`ve posted will get a man or woman down from any weight to any weight. I`m a successful dieter , this is a group of ( mental ) losers. Have fun coaching the permanent tubs in this group. Get back on your bowflex and cruise the bars. |

FYI - happy and successful people generally don't feel the need to go online and insult a bunch of strangers they know nothing about. Intelligent people enjoy a dialogue - as in exchange of information between parties and even discussing disagreements rather than being all preachy and know-it-all. Simply because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them wrong. Also, no one can or should assume to know what you're all about, especially when you fall outside the norm of adult human behavior. How to diet
Not looking for sweet talk...Also not over the edge here...Enjoy your
journey whatever it may be...GG "S D" wrote in message ... If anyone can`t "maintain" 188 lbs. ( heavy ) he/she is a glutton. Really fat people who just get less fat, or not fat , but still chunky (not thin ) are in a completely different situation than someone looking for the 120 lb. or lower range. Anyone 350 lbs, was so far out of reality with what food should, orcan be he/she can hardly be trusted to give advise. Trying to "maintain" 188 is a joke , you must think not stuffing youself at meals is a big feat. I enjoy everything I eat while not obsessing about food ( tho it is always a concern ) Americans are so ****in` fat it is a gross out. Two meals represent real meals, calorie wise, soda gives fast energy (can use OJ also ). Fasting is also a good way to lose maybe 5-10 lbs. ( it is ....fast), but too difficult to maintain over the long haul. 1100 calories/day is pleanty for anyone properly motivated ( sees the end product , not the journey) I`m on 600 cal/ day , a few days from the final goal ( which is very, very thin ) After four or so days of an 1100 ( or 600 calories , for tougher minded people) you get " locked in " to the lower intake of food and then its just a matter of time passing. The obese and fatties crying about their failure to lose weight are fat heads and losers in another way. Even if they magically did get thin they`d just gain it back. Want sweet talk ? Then stay FAT. The only failure you've come across here lately is probably in the mirror. *plonk* -- the volleyballchick |

How to diet
Joanne and Gary are spot on here. SV sorry, it may have worked for you but as you are very opinionated, I'm afraid I will also have to be so (you are talking crap!) I am a Health and Fitness College Lecturer in the UK and all the reliable science, good practice and common sense says that to eat such a low calorie diet and eat as you advise is not only not the best way to loose weight but it is not very healthy either. As for the maintaining 180lb weight I have been this weight for the past 25 years give or take a few pounds when I decide to add some muscle or up my activity levels. It seems to me you are trying to get too thin. Look at all the fit and attractive people and tell me they do not exercise. Yes there may be the odd exception but any sane person knows that exercise is essential for good health. As for the so called detox systems unless you go for the really drastic approach the real evidence is that there are very little positive results, certainly not enough to justify the misery of going on a detox diet. You appear to have read quite a lot on the subject but you have not read the science on how the body works and adapts to change. Yes everyone will loose weight on a calorie deficit, that's the equation of life, but eventually you have to give your body what it needs to stay healthy and your low cal diet and lack of exercise routine is just not the way. |
