Default I lost 100 pounds!

It's taken me nearly 2 years and numerous diet plans..... I have about 10-15
more pounds to go to reach my goal. I need to talk with others about the
major life changes that this brings.... how I feel in this new body, the
disorientation, the successes and victories, the long term effort and
challenges. I can hardly believe this is where I am. I haven't been able
to find any active email lists or webpages that offer support in this way
that weren't about selling something. Does anyone know of a resource for
me? Are there people here who have lost 100 pounds or more and kept it off?

Although I am not one of them, I'm sure there are some here. When I reach
goal, I'll have lost 90 lbs, and I fully intend to keep it off. I just
started this year. So far I have lost 60 lbs. This is a good active group.
If you stick around, you'll find out who the inspiring and successful people
are. So how did you lose your weight?

I'm at 107 lost, so far. It is too soon to know if I will maintain.

As I see it, if one stays with the way of life, the results should hold.
Unfortunately, the statistics show that regain is a great danger.

Try searching through Yahoo groups for one like you describe. If you don't
find one, make it yourself.

Like others, I have not lost nearly as much, or have spent as much time.
I've been low carbing for about 8 months, and have lost a little over 40
pounds.

I do have a friend who has lost 135 pounds in the last 18 months, and she is
very proud of her accomplishments, as she should be. Unfortunately, she
does not have a computer (or apparently even a phone right now, but we all
know thast things happen).

I know there are a lot of psychological changes that happen with a person
who has done this, both good and bad. You are in the right place to discuss
them.
