Today when I weighed in I was actually .6 below goal. I even had my
money out to pay since last night I was at a holiday open house and
indulged in the hors d'oeuvres, a glass of wine and dessert. I was
"good" the rest of yesterday and did not eat dinner when I came
home. What inspires me are friends I've met at meetings, my leader
and people here who have lost and kept off huge amounts of weight as
well as those who are struggling yet determined to get to goal. I've
decided to journal in a notebook between now and New Year's Day to
keep track of what I eat and drink, exercise, and what my obstacles
were that day. There's not enough room in the WW journals to write
about daily challenges. Thanks to those of you who post here.

Thank you so much. I'm not a very good role model because it has taken
me so long to get to this point. Today I went on a home tour with
hundreds of other ladies and it's quite a pick me up to have someone who
hasn't seen me in a while give me compliments about my weight loss.
This is really a hard road to follow. Tonight the challenge was a light
meal at 4 p.m. before a football game. I bought turkey and cheese half
sandwiches for all of us because I knew they would be huge. A friend
made a green salad and deviled eggs. I had a few bites of cheese and
crackers but no one noticed that I ate my sandwich filling with knife
and fork and didn't eat the ciabatta bread. I wanted to save those
points for the two glasses of wine
