I think it is pretty clear that the overwhelming majority of people
fare better on a diet that is balanced between carbs, protein and fat
with most of the carbs coming from vegetables, fruits and unprocessed
grains (brown rice, whole wheat bread/pasta, etc) and avoiding the
processed carbs.

Pasta is a highly processed food, as is bread. Wholemeal bread is almost
as glycemic as white bread.

don't try to introduce facts into roger the retard's nonsense.

Looks like Lyle is off his meds again. Oh well.

Ah, the sign of a true mfw dip****.
I haven't used meds for 2 years, ****wit.

Only retards and dip****s keep bringing it up and think it is meaningful.

Lyle does not agree that eating whole wheat bread/pasta is better than
eating white bread/ regular pasta??

Where did I say any such thing?

C'mon, show me where I said it. I was agreeing that
a. pasta is a highly processed food, which it is
b. so are breads

I'd have to check the GI for wholemeal vs. white bread but it's not as
different as yo'ud think.

Yer turn, dumbass.

Sorry, 3 more things.

a. The only med I was ever one was Celexa. An SSRI. For seasonal depression.

b. Your ad hominems are almost as pathetic as John Williams'. I still
think his 'Thanks for showing us a manic depressive episode' in the
bromocriptine wars last year has you beat, though.

c. If you check Rick Mendosa's excellent GI list, you'll see that the
difference in GI between white and wheat bread is about 10 points (lower
for wheat, natch). GI only drops significantly if you are talking about
the coarse types of wholemeal and rye breads and that's not what most
people are eating. Obviously, if you're going to eat bread, wholewheat
is better. But expecting it to have monstrously different effects on
blood glucose regulation (esp. for a diabetic or prediabetic) is showing
ignorance. IN this case, roger, yours.

I correctly accused you of using a Giganews account to troll MFW
under many, many names -- a new one every day. When you
quit using that account, you started appearing regularly again ...
as "roger."

I think Keith Hobnob was the guy who originally falsely accused me of
this. Then Keith apologized after another poster proved by doing a
traceroute that I could not be the other poster.

Keith owed you no apology. A traceroute to the location of
the Giganews anonymized server tells one nothing, and Giganews
does not reveal the originating IP address of its users.

On the other hand, I was the first one who tagged your location
as "roger" to the Honolulu area, a fact which you admitted was
correct ... and your IP address still returns to Honolulu.

Don't hide behind Keith's mistaken apology, roger. You're
still a liar and a know-nothing.

I have the International Table of glycemic index and glycemic load:2002 in
front of me, (acjn)

bread can have a GI between 27-95 (with glucose as the comparison)

depends on what they are made from

Barley breads/rye breads are awsome.

It's called grinding actually -- as in stone ground.

In that sense you could say your water is processed if you are in any type
of municipality...flour is nothing more than crushed grain...

We're still talking two natural ingredients...
