I lost 1.6 so I am less than 5 pounds from goal. I've upped my exercise
and am just trying to be aware of everything I eat. This loss was in
spite of three days out of town with some group meals as well as a
luncheon on Monday. I consciously tried to make good choices and ate a
lot of fish for my protein.

Way to go Audrey!!! Wow, 5 pounds from goal, that's so inspiring to hear!
When I think of that, wondering what it would be like for myself to be in
your shoes, I kinda get into this altered state of reality where I can't
even imagine it! I don't know why it's so hard to picture that achievment,
but as of right now, it seems so far away (39 more pounds to go) that I
somehow can't see it happening yet.

It's reassuring to me however, that others do reach their goal, and it leads
me to raise my eyebrows and hope for the possibility that I will too! : )))

Way to go!!

You just have to stick to the plan as much as possible. Today at lunch
I ordered a fresh seafood frittata at a restaurant. There just weren't
many good options. I just wasn't thinking and didn't ask how it was
served. It came with previously frozen hash browns I didn't eat and
nothing else. I was still so hungry but waited until I got home to have
fresh fruit to balance out the meal. My breakfasts are always on plan
and I try not to eat too much between meals other than planned snacks.
If I am desperate I eat baby carrots or raw almonds. Thirty-nine pounds
is not that far away but you do need a lot of faith in the program as
well as patience.
