Default Up 1.4 but not disappointed !

Hi All,

I think I celebrated too much last week having hit my 75 lbs loss goal !!!!

When I left my meeting on Friday night, I knew I was going to splurge a
little but still try to stay within my points.
First thing I did was go home and then wrote out my plan for the next 3
days!
Monday was my daughter's Birthday.
Wednesday was my Birthday.

Here's how my week went..........I went up 1.4lbs but no surprise, I knew I
would - but planning ahead helped me keep things under control - it could
have been much, much worse......!!!!

Think about it......we ate at a buffet on Friday for lunch.
On Saturday we had prearranged to take my daughter and her friends to huge
Chinese/Mandarin Buffet - but I ate only crab legs and stayed away form
everything else!........well, I had some fruit and sorbet for dessert ;^)
On Sunday - we had my family over for barbecue and cake for my daughter.
Then Monday - we had my wife's family over for cake for my daughter.
Wednesday was my birthday and we decided at the last minute to go out for
surf n turf but unfortunately the bruschetta bread came out with cheese on
it and I indulged a bit
Yesterday we went out for lunch and I ate Canadian (peamale) bacon, eggs,
homefries and toast
and during the week we went through Dairy Queen's drive thru 4 times!!!! but
I only had a junior plain cone, while everyone else got a medium chocolate
dipped!!!
Oh I almost forget our usual Saturday and Sunday morning breakfast - we've
been doing this for approx. 20 years now and we always go out and I eat
Canadian (peamale) bacon and eggs, homefries and toast.........been doing
all along and didn't stop just because I joined WW..........I just count the
points and plan around it.

I'd say given the amount of eating out this week and party's and stuff, I
think got off pretty lucky this week by only going up 1.4 lbs.- wouldn't you
agree? LOL!!!!

Believe it or not, planning ahead really helped me keep things under
control - it could have been much worse.

This week will be much better - I lost the battle this week, but I'm still
remaining positive and upbeat.

In case anyone noticed............I'm not changing my signature this week
because I know I will get back down this week..........hehehe

It's good to not let a little gain knock you down but also to plan to
overcome it next week. That's what I am *trying* to do myself. And I know
what you mean about the sig!!!

and you did not lose the battle in my opinion, you knew these events were
coming, decided what you wanted , planned for it and now you are moving
on... that sounds like a win to me, Now drink some extra water and you will
be fine, also think of what you would have eaten in the "before times", if
that doesn't make you realize what a win you had, then I might have to smack
you, Lee

Eddie ole pal ...

Sounds like you had the week under control. Someone else without
your planning would have gained much more. I look forward to your
loss this coming week.

Thanks Lee..............I always like your take on something! I actually
felt it was a bit of a win also, but didn't want to gloat about holding
myself to a small gain ......you're right, I decided what I wanted and
what I wanted was to indulge a little bit this week.........no harm done and
in the "before times" it most definitely would have been catastrophic!

Thanks for understanding

Hey Happy belated Birthday Shirley!!!!!!!!..........Glad you had an
enjoyable week - we have to live life as well as try our best to keep our
diet in control right? So is a little indulgence really a problem if it's
controlled and kept in check?
