Default A good shopping day!

Wow. This is so weird. Today I was getting dressed and everything looked
like crap, especially my shirts. Nothing fits right anymore, everything's
too baggy and I am sick and tired of altering old clothes to fit,
especially the ones that are all faded and pilled. And I got woken up
early today and didn't have anything to do today until 6:30 pm. When that
used to happen I would spend all day lounging around and grazing in the
kitchen, but instead I went and worked out and then went shopping.
Shopping used to suck so much at a size 20, because if I didn't want old
lady clothes I had to go to expensive places, but today it was actually
fun! There are so many more choices at size 14! I hit a thrift store
first, got a snug black knit top for $4 and some Gap silky shiny black
pants for $6, then I went to Ross. I'd never been there before but I got
some pretty good deals, a clingy animal print top for $8, a clingy black
one for $12, and a really neat skirt with this flouncy hemline for $12.
But, I didn't have proper fall/winter shoes for the skirt, my boots are too
low and rugged, so I headed over to Burlington and got some knee-high boots
for $18. The last ones in my size, of course. I'm lucky like that
sometimes. I was in such a good mood from stuff actually fitting right that
every time I was in a checkout line I talked to people and made jokes, and
I was able to make every single busy, overworked cashier smile and/or
laugh. My sister is bringing her digital camera tomorrow if she doesn't
forget, so I should have new pics up tomorrow with all these new clothes.
Thank goodness the holidays are coming up or I'd probably have nowhere to
wear them. And thank goodness I don't use credit cards and I know how to
bargain shop, or I'd be spending myself into the poor house.

Another good place to get clothing is at ebay. I have been shopping there
lately and bought several blazers and shoes for a fraction of their original
price. Some of these things are new and just about everything is in
like-new shape. However it is very addictive to go to these auctions and
wait and see if you have won!

Ebay ebay ebay. The one time I tried to sign up for ebay, filled out the
forms, picked a password and everything, and the site just would not let me
log on. Every time I typed my password it would take me right back to the
log in page. Also, I don't think I could buy clothes without being able to
try them on and touch them. Fabric feel is important to me, and I am
extremely picky about how clothes fit me, especially pants.

"Cyclonus"

unlike you, she does share and help to inspire others. being happy is
NOT pathetic, in fact is everyone's goal and when we learn to be happy
with ourselves will we remain that way regardless of our
circumstances.

Thanks. I don't know why this guy is picking exclusively on me, I can't
think of any enemies I might have online or irl. Maybe he just flat out
doesn't like me. Ooo, or maybe he does! Maybe he thinks I'm awesome and
his picking on me is like a snotty little boy pulling my pigtails to get my
attention.
