Bread is not low carb.
-- You take stupid to a new level. -- MFW "Penny" wrote in message ... I am unsure if LC bread is allowed in phase one. . The bread I have is 6 Net carbs. I had for breakfast 1 omelet with cheese, A slice of LC bread with butter, and A coffee with twin and 2percent Milk. Is this okay in Phase One? I havent actually started the diet yet. I've just bought the bread to try it out to see if its something I enjoy, and I can get by fine with it. Any imput is welcome. Thanks. |

IMHO Carby products like low carb bread should not be tried until 6 weeks
into the diet, and even then, only experimentaly. After 6 weeks, you may not want bread. Many products made for low carb are problems for the diet. For me, the exception is low carb ice cream, which seems to be OK. Others report binging on low carb ice cream, so only use it, if you can control your portion size. |

When I started Atkins, I thought I would be smart and "improve" it. So, I used various low carb bread and other products. After one month of almost no significant weight loss, I stopped being inventinve and followed the instructions in the book. Now, I have lost almost 50 pounds in about 4 months. If you want to try to repeat my experience by being smart and using low carb breads and other advanced dietary substitutes, by all means, go ahead. Prognosis.... probably poor, but all of us do seem to digest food somewhat differently. Jim -- ................................ Keepsake gift for young girls. Unique and personal one-of-a-kind. Grain products are actually the last rung on the carbohydrate ladder and usually reserved for pre-maintenance and maintenance.
