Default More on Fibromyalgia syndrome+low-carb

"Fibromyalgia syndrome is a common and chronic disorder characterized by
widespread muscle pain, fatigue, and multiple tender points. The word
fibromyalgia comes from the Latin term for fibrous tissue (fibro) and
the Greek ones for muscle (myo) and pain (algia)."

I was hopeful that someone would have picked up on the definition from
my earlier post on this subject. If you have ever experienced muscle
pain, you have experienced fibromyalgia. That is what the word means.

Now with that said, fibromyalgia syndrome is caused by many things and
is greatly relieved by a Low Carbohydrate Diet, especially the removal
of gluten from one's diet. I was made aware of this by Dr. William
Philpott many years ago and it has been very beneficial to me. My
current rheumy doctor concurs. I have written about this subject on this
NG in the past and have been gratified to find how many others have been
helped by this way of living.

George,
I happened upon your post by accident, however, I am very interested. I am new to low carb, have lost 50lbs, but my mother has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia recently, and I would like any info that might help her. Can you point me in the right direction, even link me to your previous posts?
Thank you!!
Diane
