Another Barrier Passed
Just got weighed today.... 249! 35 pounds gone so far. Except for this
damned upper respitory infection I caught from work... I feel great. Anyway, I am feeling much better and will hopefully start back exercising on Saturday. The antibiotics are finally working. Thankfully, I lost mainly fat this week when weighed on the Tanita scale at the doctor's office. 284/249/199/??? |

I used to smoke, and it damaged me in a lot of ways. I recently asked my girlfriend if she'd still be interested in me if I smoked (she has never known me to smoke). She said yes, but she hesitated quite a bit. Now if that's not an incentive for me, I don't know what is! Are ye putting the dollars in a jar to get yerself something nice as a reward? New clothes for your new slimmer body? Holiday to show it off ? When I stopped, I bought a chocolate bar or a bag of crisps each time I wanted to buy cigarettes . . . but of course I was only 175 lb then. Congrats! MadJock 204/193/165 |

Well, I am not putting the money in a little jar but that won't stop me from
going on mini shopping sprees on the way down! My Hubby has been great in helping me quit smoking. His dad died of brain cancer, brain tumors and lung cancer 4 years ago. Needless to say, he was in extreme pain and wasted away 6 months after being diagnosed. His dad was a lifetime 2 pack a day smoker. He hates that I smoked and doesn't want to watch me needlessly waste away like his dad. I never got to meet his dad, but Hubby wishes I did. -- Email me at: perpleglow(AT)comcast.net "MadJock" wrote in message ... "Perple Glow" wrote in message . net... Thanks...
