Default WOW! How did Oprah Do It?

Good attitude.

She wasn't a WW member. She didn't eat junk food (oops - "treats"). She
didn't count points. And she didn't hang out in a "support" group full of
sarcastic weak people on failed diets.

Oprah was smart. She took control of her food intake. No "treats". You
can see why she's such a success in life. She's strong.

How many successes are there in this NG?

Here's an example:

+++++++++++++

So what is it that your life is lacking that you feel the need to keep
coming to this WW themed group where people are actually working on solving
own problems and criticizing the program and the members on it? I don't
know any people that spend as much time as you do flaunting their "obvious"
superiority except for ones who basically feel empowered by the relative
anonymity of usenet because their real life generally sucks.

Happy, confident people don't need to shove their limited beliefs into
everyone's faces.

Your fixation with me is tiresome and pathetic.

And btw, I like Oprah and feel bad for her because she is gaining weight
again.

Default WOW! How did Oprah Do It?

Actually he posts regardless and was doing it long before I joined this
group. His fixation with me continues whether I ignore him or not so
basically it says that I touched a nerve and was pretty much right in my
estimation of him and his issues. If I was way off base, a normal person
would be able to laugh it off or write me off as a kook, not be so obsessed
with the things I say enough to continually repost them.

And I stand behind every word in the post I made about him that he chose to
repost this time. His life is lacking and he vents his general frustrations
in this group because of the power he gets from relative anonymity. He has
some kind of thing against WW or else he'd be in ASD and ASDLC and other
diet themed newsgroups too. The thing is, those groups would have severely
ripped him to shreds as opposed to the minor little insults he received
here.

Each and every one of his posts is just another testament to the success of
the members of this group. He's not making a dent in spreading his
ignorance and lies; he's just getting more and more frustrated in his
efforts. Meanwhile, the rest of us are working our plans and either losing
or maintaining terrific weight losses.

See, what I don't get Willow is that it was fine for you to go and taunt

refuting his lies. At first I thought that it was because it was the same
week you were complaining about your hormones, but that apparently wasn't
it. Sorry if you don't like my replies to it, but really you have no
standing to be so snarky.

Well I only responded to what was said to me and about me. I'm not going to
let a troll or even someone I actually respect just rip on me, it's not my
nature.

I've been on the internet for many years now and have seen his type so many
times and done so much better. If I want to counter his ignorance and lies
with facts, I'm going to do it. If people would stop trying to be a netcop
and follow their own advice there wouldn't be a whole lot going on now would
there?

I am here for support to give and to receive. I find facts to be very
supportive.
