Default New Here and a Q

Hi. I'm new to ww and new here so i thought i'd pop in and introduce myself.
I see some folks I know from other ngs - hi! I just joined ww yesterday. I
am at my all time high in terms of weight. My kitchen had been under major
renovations for the past few months - haven't had a real kitchen since
before Thanksgiving - so a lot of processed and take out food helped
contribute to my weight gain. Meanwhile my contractor (and his wife) have
been losing weight on ww. Now for my question... do you figure out points
for pasta on the cooked amounts? or uncooked? Thanks for any and all
hints, tips, information and advice :-).

Welcome to the group and WW. You'll find a lot of great people in this
group. I get busy at times and don't post much but I read the group most
evenings when I have free time.

I looked at the WW geting started book and a serving of pasta is generally 1
cup cooked or 2oz dry for 4 points (depending on the brand).

Teri, I stayed on WW with a kitchen remodel. I just set up shop in
another room with a toaster oven, electric tea kettle and a few other
things. It takes a bit more planning but it definitely can be done.

Fortunately, we're in the home stretch now and my kitchen is fully
functional :-). I found the biggest obstacle to be a lack of a kitchen
sink. I have no excuses now...

you can do it either way, usually DH weighs the pre cooked amount then
divides it in half or thirds after it is cooked, Lee
