Depakote and Low Carb

Hi,
I gained 32 pounds in 3 weeks after my Doctor put me on a medication
called DEPAKOTE , weight gain is a side effect, I was already about 60
pounds overweight. Im going to try the South Beach Diet. Is anyone here on
the diet and depakote? Anyone Doctors listening in on this newsgroup with
some input?

take to you RXDOC and have him change your meds................there
ARE alternatives to depakote.
