LC is expensive!
Bought some sandals last summer, and they are still in great shape. Basic
slides with a wide stretchy band across the top. I put the on today for the first time since last year. When I tried to walk, they flew off my feet. The're too big! The stretchy part has nowhere to stretch. Now I have to buy new sandals. People aren't kidding when they say LC is expensive. New clothes, new shoes, what next!? LCing since 12/01/03- Me- 5'7" 265/216/140 & hubby- 6' 310/233/180 |

I'm looking forward to buying my first knee high boots too!!
I find I'm now fitting into those clothes I purchased thinking "oh, it's only a little tight......" and then never managing to wear them...... I have about 3 pair of "target" items I want to get into. Was 4, but I finally managed to get into the pair of Jeans I bought last October!!!!! JD |

You have my sincere condolences on the loss of your 50 pounds and your
perfectly good sandals. It's heartbreaking, really ... 49, grrr... (still waiting for that LAST damn pound to come off so I can announce 50 down. It's going from 15.8-16.2 every morning, and ****ing me off, LOL! Skinny feet. Who would have thought? LCing since 12/01/03- Me- 5'7" 265/216/140 & hubby- 6' 310/233/180 |

I laughed at the chocker necklace comment. My husband bought me a really
nice necklace a few years ago that I thought was too short. I now know that my neck was too fat! I can finally wear the necklace proudly! -- Peggy 306/223/180 6' - 38 yrs January 13, 2003 http://photos.yahoo.com/spear1888 "Luna" wrote in message ... I wasn't expecting my feet to shrink either, but my old ankle boots are too big now. But the good thing is that my calves are small enough that I can wear knee high boots for the first time ever, so screw the ankle boots anyway. What really surprised me was that my choker necklaces got to be too big! And I never really thought my neck was all that fat, but apparently it was. -- Michelle Levin http://www.mindspring.com/~lunachick I have only 3 flaws. That is interesting....I had hoped my feet would get smaller, but it didn't happen. But it is good this is happening to you, in a way. The reason I say that it is that it partically get you ready for what is to come -- completely new wardrobes are in your future should you choose to continue on your present course. Same goes for hubby, too. Man, you guys will be broke, but healthy! I feel so sorry for you guys! |

And wrists, too. I have only lost about 43 pounds, am now 249, still have a
big butt and belly, but my watch band buckle goes over two notches from where it started. That and the loss of most of my double chin have been big surprises. In , DG511 stated || Luna | | writes: | || I wasn't expecting my feet to shrink either, but my old || ankle boots are too big now. | | That was the biggest shock for me. I figured, I was heavy at the | butt, thighs, and belly, so that's where I'd lose. But one of the | first places I could tell a difference was in my shoes. And it was | weird, in that the foot-shrinkage seems to have come from the tops of | my feet, right below my toes. | | This has truly been a learning experience. | | Daria | 166/146/140 | sugar-free since 2/1/04 | low-carb since 2/17/04 |
