Chicken refuse to eat sweetened foods!
Looks like "dumb animals" aren't so dumb, huh?
Cat "Ignoramus6463" wrote in message ... I have two egg laying hens and feed them leftovers. A few times I tried to give them remnants of sweet things (cakes, cereals and such). They refuse to eat any of that!!! I am also sugarfree and do not eat sugar, funny that chickens know this by heart. i |

From which we conclude what? Give it to a dog and observe, they being much closer as to us as fellow mammals, heck try to find any mammal that will not eat it. If you eat fruit you are eating sugar, or milk, vegies, and just about any other food in fact. I have two egg laying hens and feed them leftovers. A few times I tried to give them remnants of sweet things (cakes, cereals and such). They refuse to eat any of that!!!
