Default Poll: How does WW promote health and fitness?

How do you think Weight Watchers promotes health and fitness?

I'm doing a health fair tomorrow, and I have my answer to this, I have the
official "Weight Watchers" answer. I would like to have "regular members"
answer. Untainted by WW marketing department!

WW promotes a well balanced diet with servings from all of the food
groups, adequate water and the importance of exercise as a partner in
weight loss.

Default Poll: How does WW promote health and fitness?

the number one way they promote it is to help the member realize that this
is a life change lifestyle change, not a temporary diet, assisting with this
mindset allows:
-realistic expectations of losses.
-time to get used to eating properly.
-no extreme yo yo ups and downs.
-time to learn what is healthy and what is right for the member to eat.

The weekly materials that you receive at meetings gradually introduce
fitness concepts. In week 2 or 3 they give guidelines for moving
more, and later materials focus on things you can start doing for
various body parts. For me, earning activity points is a huge
motivator. I will walk for food any day!

It's also somewhat eye-opening and humbling to realize how long you have to
work out to balance out a cupcake or something of that nature! Makes me less
likely to eat willy-nilly.
