5 Tips on How To Stick To Your Exercise Routine
1. Tell everyone you know that you're going to start exercising.
You'll feel ashamed if people ask you how your exercise is going and you have to tell them you skimped. If you tell everyone you're going to exercise, they'll unconsciously be watching you to see if your body has improved. And people will comment you when they notice that receding waistline, making you feel good about your exercise. 2. Hit the gym and stick to your routine, even if you think you're tired that day. The exercise will make you feel much better. Working out will actually give you MORE energy when you're done. 3. Find a place close to home. If your gym is too far away, you'll be able to use the distance as an excuse for not working out. 4. Work out in the morning. Get out of bed a little earlier and get your workout done first. Otherwise, a lot of people will just get so busy during the day that they forget or neglect their routine. 5. Set a regular schedule. Make it a habit. Work out on the same days and at the same times. If you can stick to it, after a while, you will feel weird and uncomfortable when you skip a workout. It also helps if you work a little smarter and make the most efficient use of your workout time.
