I have been a consistent member since December 30, 2000 and I am still
overweight. But as I tell people in my meeting room, if I quit, I
would have gained everything I had lost and more, so staying the course
when you are not losing or gaining a little is better than gaining
consistently and being heavier than when you started to begin with. I
will say that I have had my ups and downs in my weight. Have I
followed program consistently the whole time, no I haven't, but I am
still lower in weight than I was when I started this journey to begin
with. I will continue to attend meetings, as I know that this is the
only way to keep off the weight that I have lost and it keeps it in the
front of my mind all the time, if I have to face that scale every week.

Deb, this is the way to do it. At some point it will click and you will
stay on track consistently. You just have to be ready for the
commitment. You are definitely IMO doing the right thing.

my point exactly, I am a terribly slow looser but I can guarantee I am a
fast gainer so even if I never get to goal I will always attend, Lee

Is there anyone here who has actually been a member of WW for "years"

and
is still overweight? I know there are people who were following the

plan
and *stopped* and eventually came back so that doesn't really count

since
they weren't consistently a member over "years." I also know that some
people with a lot of weight to lose (100+) are doing the right thing and
losing at a healthy rate which could take 1-2 years or even more but

after
"years" are nowhere near as overweight as they were at the start.
Personally I have only been a member since October but weigh much less
since joining.

It is so sad when a delusional troll has to constant make stuff up in
order to put down a group of healthy and successful people because it's
life as a pathetic little busboy is so void of meaning. Maybe when it
moves out of mommy and daddy's basement it can get a life.

Anyone new to the group can easily google the troll and the dozens of
references posted that show it is totally ignorant of reality and fact

and
that it is so desperate for attention it resorts to stalker like

behavior
and lies.
