coconut ice cream?
I find myself thinking of coconut ice cream and have started
wondering whether I can approximate it by whomping some frozen coconut, coconut milk, cream, and AS in the blender--you know like the quick berry ice cream that is made from cream, frozen berries, and AS? Do you think this would work? -- Jean B. |

Do you think this would work? Well, while it might not taste like ice cream, I bet it'd be a damned tasty frozen treat!!! S. |

From: "Jean B." (Snipped) I find myself thinking of coconut ice cream and have started wondering whether I can approximate it The Torani SF coconut syrup is fantastic-makes you think you are drinking fresh coconut milk. Make a LC icecream and add the syrup for the flavoring and sweetner-it is very sweet. I make a wonderful drink out of it just adding it to cold water. Doesn't take much-good strong coconut flavor. Hen. Hmmmm. I think I even HAVE that flavor. Right now, I am interested in one serving of something quick, so I want to try the blender route. The coconut DaVinci would work well as part of that, or so I think. -- Jean B. |

coconut ice cream?
Swerving off the subject just a tad .... I like to mix DaVinci coconut
syrup and pineapple syrup into plain yogurt. Tastes like Pina Colada! Oh what a WONDERFUL idea... I miss Pina Colada smoothies. I could use heavy cream cut with water, crushed ice, protein powder, and the flavor syrups (or maybe the pineapple, with real unsweetened coconut). I'm trying to get into more homemade soups and homemade meal-replacement drinks because I've developed a serious level of apathy toward eating "meals". Coupled with small appetite. |
