Default UPDATE --- WW Meeting

Hey, the next time you think it's "only" 10 pounds, heft 10 pounds of
potatoes the next time you're at the store. :-) Congrats!

My second favorite household chore is ironing. My first one being -- hitting

YEA! I was able to go. I had a 1.4 pound lost this past week. So there
was good news.
The people around me are not being as supportive as I would like them to,
however I know that this is up to me and *I* can drop weight, even if it's
a slow. 10.2 pounds so far.
Thanks for all of the kind words.

I'm bummed. Today I will miss my first meeting in 8 wks. I have never
done anything for 8 wks! And even though my progress is slow ... it's
progress.
There is about 3 1/2 feet of snow on the ground ... but that isn't the
problem. It has more to do w/ my van not starting.
Yes, this post does relate to both the clutter NG and ASDW. The clutter
in my garage makes it imposable to park in there. If I could have parked
in my garage my van would have started in this cold weather. So, not
only am I not able to go to a WW meeting ... we are also trapped in the
house.
This sucks and it is 100% my fault.

lol, your right. I bought a 10 lb bag of apples yesterday and had a hard
time getting it into the cart! Good reminder that 10 lbs counts!

I am so happy for you and also happy that you found a different meeting. On
line groups are great for support when those IRL are not the best. 10.2
down is so much better than having it still on your body.

Your right! Thanks for the reminder!

good for you!!!, slower is better in losing weight just like getting rid of
clutter. It gives you, your head and your body time to get used to it with
the least amount of stress, again good for you. Lee

Use the snow to your advantage..this week I have been chipping and chopping

wise.....
I look at shoveling as free exercise- if you can handle it..I am overweight
too so I nothing to lose but fat over here ..of course watch your back !!

Exactly Kim-- good analogy....

When I think of 40 pounds I think of when I am carrying my 5yo up the steps
when he falls asleep on the sofa..it is excruciating! It is a lot of weight
to haul esp when tired....
I **** and moan to myself ...of course!
.....
Then I think-- if I LOST that 40 lbs I'd be carrying just my own weight
total up the steps and it wouldn't be as bad..of course there is more than
that on me I need to lose but it adds interesting perspective...

DH does ours because the cold is so hard on my bones, his back doesn't like
it at all so he does the minimum, if you can handle it and be careful any
outdoor activity is excellent for burning calories, Lee

Default UPDATE --- WW Meeting

this became real for me when we took all six cats to the vet last June, I
guess I had thought of it before but at that time we had one that weighted
just in at five pounds, and they went up to 18 pounds, after the vet
assistant did their weights, we waited for the vet and we started combining
weights of cats to see how much I had lost, Lee
