Does anyone know if green tea normally does or does not have caffeine? Diane You can get caffeine free green tea, just check for that designation. I bought some fantastic Candy Cane Lane Holiday Decaf Green Tea made by Celestial Seasonings. 0 carbs, lovely peppermint flavor and tastes like a warm candy cane. I added a half pkg of Splenda to mine, very yummy! I want the caffeine - but the package didn't say. If I make it and assume it has it and that is all I drink I will end up with a terrible headache. Caffeine never keeps me awake. Because I am hyperactive - it actually helps me calm down and focus. Thanks for the answers everyone - now it's off to Austin to my daughter's dorm - since she doesn't get to come home (She is in the Univ TX band and they play football Fri at 2:30). Diane |
