Default 50 pounds are gone....

Just a little post to say that this morning, my scale indicated that I
had lost my 50th pound.
I usuelly don't count the kilograms, but 50 *is* a nice number.

Low carb, for me, has been a really amazing discovery (sounds like a
cheap advertisement, doesn't it? :-)
It didn't allow me to loose really fast in the long term. It simply
allowed me to loose weight, quite constantly. I control my eating
disorder much better. Risks are not zero, but It really helps to know
that there is no "forbidden food" in the long term.
For instance, I'm having dinner with a friend in a few hours. I cooked
for him.
Roasted beef, string beens with garlic onions, parsley and butter.
I bakes a really nice apple pie and I also baked a home made bread with
whole wheat and sesam seeds.
I know that eventhough this is not low carb, it doesn't matter. Because
I will exercise a bit this afternoon. It will burn the carbs, and I may
even not leave ketosis. My body know seems to be able to switch from
glucose to fat in a finger snap, just as long as I don't overload it
with a ton of sugary crap.

Anyway, I wanted to thank this group. You are really a big help, you
cannot imagine how.
I've done 57% of the work, here (see the figures in the signature), and
I know I will hit my final goal in a year, more or less. I'm not in a hurry.

And you know what? When I hit this goal, I will stop smoking. That will
be my reward. But that's another story...

CONGRATULATIONS! 50 lbs is a SIGNIFICANT milestone! Keep it up! Any progress

Thanks everyone for greeting me in the 50pound loss club (FPLC ?)

I would never have thought that one day I would do it, but I just put a
few photos on a "confidential" page ;-)
Only for the curiosity of Saffire ;-)

I'm not seeing anything on the pages (actually, in Mozilla I see nothing at all
-- in IE I see two boxes with Xs in them).
