Default It Happened, Strayed today and yesterday

Hi all,

I was doing so fine when Yesterday I fell apart like a cheap suit. I
finally fit into a size 34 waist and went out for a few drinks. Of course
after the drinks I ate everything in sight. This carried over to today's
BBQ. I was doing great even in restaurants and everyday life. I need to
focus again and get on track damn I feel horrible. Thanks for being here
and listening

Steve

Hi Steve,

Alcohol by itself is not a bad thing. Just a trace of carbo in most. The
downfall is the lack of discipline that drinking leads to. . You just have
to know what you need to do to get to the place (weight-wise) you need to
be.

Just get back on and keep going - I've found on LC that my diet isn't
completely destroyed by a day or two of cheating.

Hey Steve. Do you feel horrible physically from the extra carbs, or just
horrible about going off plan? If you're feeling guilty about it, check
out catmidy's (rachel's) post on the "I Have Sinned" thread, she has some
good things to say about the occasional cheat. Don't feel bad about it,
this is a plan for life, and life includes letting yourself off the hook
once in a while.

I hear ya, Steve. I'm in the same boat, except I've been drifting a lot
longer than two days. All I can say is, get back on it ASAP, before
carbing up becomes a habit.
