Default I'm Surrounded By Pizza

When I lived on the West coast, in a nice pricey neighborhood, I could
go to the grocery store and find that the Pizza section only occupied
one or two freezers.

When I moded to middle class and slightly lower Midwest, I found that in
the grocery stores there would be *Entire Aisles* of nothing but pizza.
Maybe there would be siz to nine ( 6 to 9) freezers of nothing but pizza.

HELP, I'M SURROUNDED BY PIZZA !!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, it also should be remembered that when moving to the Midwest, I
found myself astounted by the greater number of fat people in the
stores... the ones that looked like various forms of spinning toys I
used to own.

I was more of a nice stuffed huggable animal.

I've observed the same thing... there aren't nearly as many fat people on
the west coast as there are in midwest/northeastern states.
I myself was of healthy weight when I lived in WA... didn't gain weight
until moving to Michigan. And when I moved here I very noticibly recognized
that a much higher percentage of people were obese than where I had
previously lived. In my own mind, I thought it made since... WA is
beautiful and has trees and rivers and mountains and fantastic weather... MI
is dreary, cloudy, humid, sticky, hot, freezing-burning, brown, ugly,
cemented... my lifestyle changed to stay indoors more because the outside
was not very pretty.
Also, the fresh produce on the west coast was much yummier. The apples,
oranges, veggies, fish... fresh and delicious. I hated the taste of most
fruits & veggies when I first moved here (they ship them up from Florida -
yuck - instead of California).

HELP, I'M SURROUNDED BY PIZZA !!!!!!!!!!!
Jim

Where are you at in the Midwest?
I live in Kansas and yes one full isle is full of pizza.
When we order pizza say from Pizza Hut, I have started scraping off the tops
and just eating the cheese and meat.
I don't think I would do that from a store bought pizza though I don't think
the cheese is always real.

Where exactly in the Midwest are you at? Location?

Yes, there is a lot of pizza in freezers in the stores I go to also. I don't go

Here in Chicago, the grocery chains (Jewel, Dominicks, Cub, Meijer) have
almost entire aisles of frozen pizza. One of them (I think Dominicks)
started carrying a frozen low carb pizza made by Home Run Inn (I didn't like
it).

There is no shortage of well-fed people around here.
