info when making the announcment?

Kat you don't have to be a Christian to chat there, we just want to be able
to share praises and prayer request there too without being bashed. Your
welcome there as long as you keep it family friendly.

Basically you're saying that non-christians may feel out of place though, I
mean I'm an athiest and would feel uncomfortable at a prayer group.

If I were a Satanist who ran a chat for LC and we praised the glory of the
red-horned one and performed an internet mock sacrifice, would you not feel
out of place and maybe even upset that it wasn't mentioned in the chat
announcement? I would say you would.

I'm not trying to **** on anyone's religion, or even start a religious
debate, I'm just saying disclosing that information would have been nice for
the people who may have different beliefs than you. You're afraid of getting
bashed? Why? And wouldn't this deception invite bashing from the
unsuspecting non-believers?

Non-smokers die, everyday, in fact, more non-smokers die everyday vs.
smokers, granted smokers will die of smoking related illnesses. But my point

PJ,
It states very plainly on the site BEFORE you enter the chat room that it is
"Lowcarb_Christians". It is completely up to you to enter. Should
EVERYTHING about any site be disclaimed in an announcement to your
individual liking? There was an invitation to chat. I'm sorry if you feel
uncomfortable chating with people who may/may not be Christians. I don't
feel that any particular special disclaimer should be involved.
