Doug's Week 76 report - down 2.2 lb - 95.7 lb total
This week was a better than average week. In fact, I haven't had a full
kilogram weight loss in a week since January! So it is nice to happen sometimes. This week my average daily calories came to just 1348 calories/day. This was about 150 calories/day less than last week and much less than usual, which probably explains my weight loss. Notice this is NET calories (food minus exercise) so it doesn't necessarily mean I'm eating all that less. I have been pretty busy here in St. Louis, and better about getting in my daily exercise (brisk walks around Lafayette Park). My CPP (calories per pound per day needed to maintain weight) was 13.7 which is higher than average. Maybe doing more exercise in general keeps my metabolism up overall. My "rolling 4 week average" has increased a bit to 0.7 lb/week. My current weight graph is at http://lerner.net/diet/weight20061117.jpg. The latest stats: * Week 76 / Day 532 * This week's loss: 1.0 kg = 2.2 lb * Weight (kg): 125.0 - 81.5 (minus 43.5 kg) * Weight (lb): 275.0 - 179.3 (minus 95.7 lb) MILESTONE! In the 170s! * BMI: 41.3 - 26.9 MILESTONE! In the 26s! * Percent body mass lost: 34.8% * Percent complete to goal: 95% Question of the week - will I get into 70s in kilos before the end of the year? doug p.s. Tomorrow I'm moving on the Boston where I am surprising my parents and sister for Thanksgiving. They don't even know I've been in the U.S.! (They usually call me on my Skype number, so it all looks the same to them.) |

Whats interesting in your graph to me is I see steady downward progress. But what really stands is there are also some peaks. This is good for me to see, since it points out if you stay consistent the weight will come off and not always every week. Stay away from the Boston Cream Pie, its full of points (I have much to show for it) Have fun Ralph Ralph |
