Becky was the primary admin moderating the site for a long time and also has an anti-Kimkins blog now. But yeah, there's a lot of exes besides the three of them - including people who were fans over on LCF for a long time before she got her own site and were subsequently banned for questioning the photos on the site. She's quite a piece of work and her "confession" has a ring of professional PR about it. One wonders what would have happened if she'd sought that kind of professional assistance earlier. She really would make an interesting psychological study. Eh... lying sociopaths aren't all that unusual. I find this one entertaining mostly cause I *wasn't* involved personally; it's never fun when you actually *are* in a relationship with someone like that. But I think the mob at LCF would, too. They are dedicated -- and have single vision lenses. Many's the time some have been told, "Boy! I sure wouldn't want to have you get made at ME!" But I know one thing for sure -- there's not a one of 'em that I'd want as a friend. Oh, I wouldn't say that - some of them are kewl. But there's a mob mentality overall on LCF. Some of the objections are stuff as ridiculous as said by the doctor and nutritionist on the TV show; objections for all the wrong reasons just cause objecting to Kimmer is a knee-jerk reaction and the "in" thing to do no matter how lame the objection. -- http://www.ornery-geeks.org/consulting/ |

Becky is three. I understand (from Jimmy Moore) that she was the first one to quit Kimmer. http://winningweight.blogspot.com/20...y-goodbye.html I guess it's a mea culpa in the shallowest sense. The kind that maybe gets you away from prosecution, but doesn't save you from an unpleasant afterlife (if you believe in such things... I don't). Yeah -- you got it straight. She's quite a piece of work and her "confession" has a ring of professional PR about it. One wonders what would have happened if she'd sought that kind of professional assistance earlier. She really would make an interesting psychological study. Old school psychology. You study the sick to comment on the healthy. I'm more from the positivism school. But the sickos make better case studies, that's for sure. But I think the mob at LCF would, too. They are dedicated -- and have single vision lenses. Many's the time some have been told, "Boy! I sure wouldn't want to have you get made at ME!" But I know one thing for sure -- there's not a one of 'em that I'd want as a friend. I like my posting at least as organized as Usenet. Can't read LCF, but judging from your (and other) reviews, they're the proverbial club that would have me as a member (qv Groucho). |

She really would make an interesting psychological study. Eh... lying sociopaths aren't all that unusual. True -- but how many of them take it to this extreme? Even now that she's thrown herself on her sword, she's faking photographs. It's really mind blowing. I find this one entertaining mostly cause I *wasn't* involved personally; it's never fun when you actually *are* in a relationship with someone like that. Ain't that the truth. I wouldn't want to have to sort them out -- so I just wouldn't trust any of them. Then you don't have to guess which one will stab you in the back at their first opportunity. I love the "it's all about the money" argument. The fact that "Kimmer" was preaching for years -- for free -- and only started making any "real" money on this after the WW article seems to be lost on them. That's a long wait for a payoff if it's "all about the money." I notice "Kimmer" is offering refunds now and her "victims" are refusing them. Not sure what they hope to accomplish with that -- I guess the LCF Law School didn't go into the duty to mitigate damages. -- BlueBrooke 254/225/135 |
