Default Just Checking In

Hello,

For those that remember, I was Jason a while ago on this group with lots
of "depression" problems and the like.

Well, I have been on the Lexapro anti-depressant medication for just over
30 days now, and it has been working wonders. I was almost to the point
of active suicidal thoughts back then, and for the most part this
medication has helped. I have still had a few rough spots during this 30
days, and a few days ago were quite severe but... I am still here so it
was not that severe if you get my hint...

Anyway, I have not been back on the diet, but I have gone on the
medication that so many of you told me to get on. Except for infrequent
now "rough" spots (that all are now primarily attributed to stress at
work, mind you (the "depressing" thoughts no longer seem to come from my
past but are mostly now just frustration with what I see as great
potential for our company yet no one there has the guts to stand up and do
what is necessary to make it happen.) so even that is an improvement as I
see it.

Anyway, just wanted to drop a line and let all those that remember me know
what's been going on.

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving to all those in the U.S.A. and Happy XYZ to
anyone else who has a holiday around this time as well.

Thanks to all,

Jason

Hi, Jason: I'm relatively new here and just want to say how glad I am
that Lexapro is working for your depression. I was on Celexa (the earlier
relative of Lexapro) for 3 years and it probably literally saved my life.

Have a great Thanksgiving.
